We appreciate you visiting PostGoldGet Cash (the ‘Site’) and thank you for your business. As a user of the website you (‘User’ or ‘You’) are obliged by law to adhere to the following terms and conditions ( ‘the Agreement’). You should read this Agreement and let it dictate your use of the Site and by continuing to use the Site and the valuation and sale process it offers for your jewellery (‘Valuables’) you agree to accept the terms and conditions of SFN Limited (subsequently refereed to as ‘PostGoldGetCash’), postgoldgetcash.co.uk and its affiliated operatives and beneficiaries.
1. Your use of the Site
By using this site you agree to the following:
a) You are a UK citizen and are over 18 years of age.
b) The personal details and information you submit are accurate and you are obliged to notify the Site if there is any alteration or change to your details.
c) You are the rightful owner of the Valuables, have full title to them and are not under duress to send the Valuables by any person or organisation.
d) You have not come into possession of the Valuables via any illegal activity, act of terrorism, money laundering nor will the sale of the Valuables by you violate any UK law.
e) You will provide proof of identity, ownership of Valuables and appliance to these terms of conditions upon request.
2. PostGoldGetCash operation times
a) PostGoldGetCash accepts packages every weekday between 9am and 5.30pm except on Bank Holidays and public holidays.
b) PostGoldGetCash assigns payments within 24 hours (see 5a) of You accepting the telephone valuation of your Valuables. Given that the 24-hour period falls or continues into a weekend or holiday, your Valuables will be processed and payment assigned on the first business day following the weekend or holiday.
3. Assessment of Valuables
a) Valuables purchased by PostGoldGetCash are not resold. Valuables are refined and valuations are based on melt value at current rates. Users accept that to ascertain current market value, Valuables will be handled and assessed by a process that may involve chemicals being added to the Valuables to establish carat grade and that, while all due care is taken, Valuables may incur staining or scratches by the process.
b) PostGoldGetCash only values gold and does not value or buy small diamonds, precious or semi-precious gemstones. All stones and non-precious metals must be detached from your Valuables before they are posted and PostGoldGetCash will not take responsibility for any aforementioned non-gold items included with your Valuables.
c) Any jewellery sent to PostGoldGetCash that does not adhere to the criteria stated in 3b will not be returned to You without request. Items will only be returned if requested by You and a Returns Fee agreed to. The Returns Fee will be charged at a standard rate of £12 unless otherwise specified.
4. Secure Postage (‘Post Pack’) and guarantee against loss
a) PostGoldGetCash Post Packs, which are sent free and with no obligation to all Users on request, are insured up to the value of £500 by Royal Mail. Upon request, bags to an additional insurance value may be sent but the same Royal Mail carrier criteria will be applied. Alternative carriers used (see point 4b) must only be used in conjunction with postal insurance to the full value of the Valuables and a comprehensive list of Valuables included on the PostGoldGetCash submission form.
b) All Users are entitled to a free, insured Post Pack from PostGoldGetCash and must send Valuables directly to PostGoldGetCash in this package or by a system such as Royal Mail Track & Trace which will allow the User and/or PostGoldGetCash to ascertain the exact position of the Valuables at all times.
c) PostGoldGetCash does not accept Post Packs that are attempted to be delivered with signs of damage or indications that the Post Pack could have been manipulated in any way by a third party. Delivery will be refused and the Post Pack or package will be returned to You without any liability to the Site.
5. Important restrictions to PostGoldGetCash liability
PostGoldGetCash greatly value your business and look forward to accepting your Post Pack and Valuables. Once these Terms and Conditions are accepted, the Site’s liability is restricted to the lowest of three current market valuations or fixed rates as stated as A, B and C and outlined below:
A Eighty pounds (£80).
B The accredited assessment value of your Valuables (accredited within 90 days and, if requested by PostGoldGetCash, verified by an independent valuation solicited by PostGoldGetCash) to the level of 50 per cent of its total value.
C Half of the wholesale value of your Valuables or the current market melt value.
PostGoldGetCash is not liable for any damages from the loss or destruction of property in its possession for any reason, including negligence greater in value than set out in point 4. A, B or C. By the submission of Valuables you are agreeing to this restriction of liability and forfeit alternative claims made by You, your insurer (mail carrier insurer or private home insurer) and any other third party to PostGoldGetCash.
6. Accepting our valuation and receiving your money
a) Once your Valuables are received by PostGoldGetCash (the fully insured Royal Mail Post Pack containing your Valuables is collected and signed for by a PostGoldGetCash employee from the registered PO Box address listed on your Post Pack), PostGoldGetCash qualified staff assess all Valuables. We will then endeavour to send a cheque to You or pay the valuation amount directly to Your bank account depending on Your stated preference within 24 hours. If Your preference is unclear we will send You a cheque. If You wish to be paid in cash there is an additional charge for secure delivery of monies and this must be agreed by telephoning PostGoldGetCash prior to sending your Valuables.
b) The length of time it takes to complete your valuation and send a cheque or bank transfer may vary and PostGoldGetCash accepts no liability for any degree at any level for delays in this process.
c) Once you have cashed the cheque you are bound to the valuation provided by PostGoldGetCash. If You do not wish to accept PostGoldGetCash’s valuation then your Valuables will be returned to you within 30 days of us receiving the original cheque, see 6e and 6f.
d) If money is paid directly to your bank account you have up to 7 days to call us and tell us that you do not accept the valuation. You will then be required to post us a cheque or send funds to our bank account. We will give you details of this when you call.
e) If You do not notify us and return payment within 7 days you will be considered to have agreed to the sale and your Valuables cannot then be returned. Payment returns will only be accepted as follows:
i. When being paid by cheque You must return the original cheque to us
ii. When being paid by bank transfers you must return the payment directly into our SFN Limited’s bank account within 7 days. PostGoldGetCash will then return your Valuables to you within 30 days.
f) If returned, Valuables shall be sent by a carrier chosen by PostGoldGetCash and insured for no more than the value stated by PostGoldGetCash in its verbal or emailed valuation report. This may differ from the amount the Valuables were insured for when sent to PostGoldGetCash. The exception is where You agree in writing before shipment to pay for additional insurance and costs. The cost of return of the Valuables may be charged to You and this shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Directors of PostGoldGetCash.
7. The claim process
If you should wish to submit a claim to PostGoldGetCash for lost Valuables, you must promptly contact us at PostGoldGetCash on 0800 612 2308 or via the Contact Form at www.postgoldgetcash.co.uk. You will be sent a claim form and You must complete the form, sign the form and mail it back to us following all the instructions on the claim form and with all supporting documents, as requested. If information is incomplete or inaccurate; if there is no proof of Valuables being posted to PostGoldGetCash; and if the form is not completed and sent as soon as possible from the date you became aware that the Valuables were lost, the claim will be rejected.
8. Compensation and Third Parties
a) By using PostGoldGetCash You comply with its indemnification policy which releases the Site from absolute liability, costs, legal fees, suits and claims due to any breach or alleged breach of this Agreement, including those made third parties.
b) This does not affect our right to transfer this Agreement and You agree to indemnify legitimate successors to PostGoldGetCash and decree adverse claims non injurious.
9. Amendments to the Agreement
The Internet is changing fast and the Site will modify this Agreement from time to time in accordance with changes. It is the Users responsibility to regularly check PostGoldGetCash’s terms and conditions inform themselves of new announcements and changes.
10. Applicable Law, Claims and Legal Fees
a) You and PostGoldGetCash consent that only United Kingdom law will apply to this Agreement and the courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Agreement.
b) If You are found in breach of the Agreement and the court awards in your favour, You will be responsible for all allowable costs.
c) PostGoldGetCash will be reimbursed by You should any civil action be filed or aimed at PostGoldGetCash.
d) Claims arising from use of the Site must be declared within 12 months of the stated reason for the claim being exposed.
